Yoga
Yoga is an ancient mind-body practice originating in India. Derived from the Sanskrit word yuj (meaning “to join” or “union”), it combines physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation to connect the mind, body, and spirit.
Natya Yoga
Natya Yoga is a dynamic practice that combines Hatha yoga, Indian classical dance movements, and music therapy. Instead of holding still poses, it uses rhythmic flows, mime, and graceful transitions to link the body, mind, and spirit.
Bharatanatyam
Bharatanatyam is a major classical Indian dance form from Tamil Nadu characterized by bent knees, footwork, and expressive hand gestures. It offers powerful physical fitness, mental focus, and emotional release.
“Yoga is the Cessation of the Fluctuations of the Mind.”
